Cocobolo Coffee Table

This project involved creating a custom sized Cocobolo coffee table.  We found an old Lane coffee table and recycled the parts.  It was too big so we had to shorten the skirting and cross frames.  The top was also too big, so we cut that down and added Cocobolo trim all the way around the center piece.  The original light oak finish was stripped and the table was refinished using india ink and leather dye.  Here’s a few pictures of our progress as we finished this piece.
